In short, I began my film career with a feature-length documentary about the Egyptian Revolution — followed by nearly a decade as a multimedia producer at MIT, where I specialized in distilling complex topics and the lifework of extraordinary people into evocative short stories.
Now I work independently with other talented and passionate visual storytellers to tell your story!

After studying photojournalism and philosophy, I spent the following decade covering breaking news in Egypt, Libya, Syria, and Sudan, while also working on in-depth stories for outlets such as National Geographic, Rolling Stone, and the New York Times, and Der Spiegel, and Le Monde Magazines.
Now I'm based in Boston and New York to document this moment in US history and to expand my visual language into video and documentary.
